XXXL Amethyst and Calcite in Vug Matrix *REDUCED*

Brandberg Mountains

45 x 45 x 30 cm | 3000 grams

This was one of two specimens of its kind ever found from Brandberg.

Museum size, showing excellent colour, luster and termination, this XXXL crystal is an impressive piece no matter how you look at it.

This rare specimen would make a fine addition to any serious collectors cabinet.

Size and weight are estimated!

Tanzanite on Matrix

Merelani Hills, Arusha Region

8 x 7 x 6 cm | 180 grams

A Tanzanite MATRIX phenomenon!

This piece was originally quite dark, and is the exception to the other pieces on this website. It has been gently heated in a gem-oven, to bring out the brightness and colour of the Tanzanite!

Although the specimen no longer hosts the small Pyrite or Calcite that were on the matrix prior to heating, it now has an incredible bright, gemmy blue Tanzanite to show off!

Largest Crystal: 5 x 1.5 x 0.85cm

Ajoite and Kaolinite in Quartz

Messina, South Africa

5.5 x 3.5 x 2.6 cm | 64 grams

This is an absolute stunner.

Great termination and overall form, plenty of deep and attractive Ajoite, and balls and puffs of Kaolinite make this piece a prime example of some of the better material to come from this rare locality.

Very hard to accurately photograph - this piece is better in person!

Ajoite and Papagoite in Quartz

Messina, South Africa

3.5 x 2.5 x 2.2 cm | 21 grams

Here's something you don't find too often!

A absolute stunner of a specimen. This piece boasts both good Ajoite, and Papagoite, with near perfect termination 360 degrees around. One could almost call this piece triple terminated.

I struggle to find a reason not to call this piece a total floater.

A prize for any real collector.
